Everdeen Funky Striped Cotton Dungarees are properly baggy, spring green striped dungarees for festivals, lazy days, market wandering, or generally refusing to dress like an estate agent.

They’re made from 100% cotton and handmade in Nepal. The adjustable shoulder straps let you alter the length, while the seven-pocket setup gives you a front bib pocket, two side pockets, two back pockets and two combat-style pockets on the legs. That is a fair amount of room for the usual bits and pieces.

They come in Large with a 78cm inseam, or XL with an 82cm inseam. If you like your clothes loose, colourful and a little bit loud, these are well on the right side of sensible.

These are for people who think ordinary trousers are taking themselves far too seriously. The spring green stripes are not subtle, and thankfully neither are the seven pockets. I like that the straps adjust the length, as dungarees can otherwise be a bit of a gamble. Loose, cotton and handmade in Nepal: decent festival gear, or just good clothes for a day when jeans seem unnecessarily formal.
