The Black Inches Belt is a cut-to-size canvas belt with a clip-shut fastener. Instead of picking from a fixed set of waist sizes, you trim the loose end to suit, re-thread it through the fastener, and get on with it.

The belt is made from thick, soft canvas and the fastening can close at any point along the belt, so there is still room to adjust it after cutting. It is a straightforward black belt for jeans, cargos and everyday trousers, without a big buckle getting in the way.

Worth measuring against a belt that already fits before you cut it. Take a little off at a time: putting length back on is, sadly, beyond the belt’s skill set.

A sensible belt, really. The useful bit is that the clip fastener catches anywhere along the canvas, rather than forcing you into a row of holes that is nearly right. Cut it down slowly, check the fit, then trim again if needed. The black canvas keeps it plain enough for everyday wear, which is usually what you want from a belt.
