Our oil burner collection includes compact burners for smaller spaces alongside medium, large and extra-large designs. You'll find carved soapstone and ceramic burners, with designs including elephants, suns, Buddha heads and the detailed cut-out patterns found across our Jali range.

If you're choosing between sizes, think about where the burner will sit as well as how it looks. Our smaller soapstone burners are useful when space is limited, while the medium and larger versions give you a more substantial decorative piece. Using an Oil Burner

Traditional oil burners use a tealight positioned beneath a dish containing water and a small amount of suitable fragrance or aromatic oil. As the water warms, the fragrance is released into the room. Always follow the instructions supplied with the burner and the oil you are using.

Choosing the Right Oil Burner

Size, material and design are the main differences to consider. Soapstone gives the carved Jali burners their distinctive appearance, while the ceramic Buddha Head designs offer a different style altogether. Several of our Elephant, Elven, Eternity and Sun designs are available in more than one size, making it easier to choose a burner that suits the space you have available.

Safety: Oil burners become hot during use. Place the burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from children, pets and flammable materials. Never leave a burning tealight unattended and do not allow the water in the burner dish to boil dry. Allow the burner to cool fully before handling.
