These Nepalese shoulder bags are proper colourful everyday bags, made in Nepal with a wide cotton strap that can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.

The main opening has a zip and a button fastening, while a small zipped pocket inside gives your phone and keys somewhere less likely to disappear into the bottom. Choose from five very different looks: black embroidered Om, patchwork Peace, bright patchwork Owl, floral Flower, or Peace Wheel with its large CND symbol and stylised leaf pattern.

They are the sort of bag that suits a wander round town, a festival, or simply carrying the daily bits without filling your pockets. Pick the design you actually like, because these are not trying to be subtle.

These are proper hippy shoulder bags, not one of those tiny fashion bags that only holds a lip balm and a receipt. I like that the main zip also has a button fastening, and the little zipped pocket is useful for keys and phone. The Owl and Flower versions are particularly loud. That is very much the point.
