Product description

The RAD RZ Series is a compact digital scale with a 500g capacity, made for keeping close by rather than taking up the whole drawer. At 128 x 78 x 21mm, it is properly pocket-sized, with a blue back-lit LCD that is easier to read than an unlit display.

It runs through three keys, so there is not a page of buttons to decipher. The tare function lets you zero the scale after putting a tray or container on it, and user calibration is available when needed. It reads in g, oz, gn, ct, ozt and dwt, which covers the usual weighing jobs without making you stick to one unit.

Two AAA batteries are included, and the auto-off function helps avoid finding it flat when you next need it. A straightforward little scale for accurate small-item weighing.

A decent little scale when you want something compact and readable, rather than a large bench unit lurking about. The blue back-lit screen is useful in a dim room, and the tare button saves the usual mental arithmetic with a tray on top. It is only 21mm thick, so it will tuck away easily when you are done.
