Product description

The RAW Ash Catcher is a small nylon cup that fits onto a roll-up to catch ash while you smoke. Handy when you’re outside, in the car, or simply fed up with ash landing on your jeans instead of in the tray.

It has a flat base, so you can stand it down on a flat surface between pulls rather than trying to balance a lit roll-up on the edge of an ashtray. The nylon is described as heat resistant, and the whole thing weighs 18g, so it won’t add much bulk to a pocket or smoking pouch.

RAW also suggests turning it upside down as a small rain cover if you get caught out. Sensible little bit of kit for keeping the mess under better control.

This is one of those slightly daft-looking RAW bits that makes more sense once you use it. It sits on the end of a roll-up and catches the ash, rather than letting it go down your front or across the table. The flat bottom is the useful part for me: put it down, pick it up, carry on. At 18g, it’s hardly going to weigh your pouch down.
