A dark blue cotton bedspread with a large, colourful mandala print, made to fit a single bed at approximately 140cm x 200cm. It also works well as a throw over a sofa, chair or the end of the bed when the room needs more colour than another plain blanket can manage.

Each one is hand-printed and hand-finished in India, so the printed design may vary slightly from the photos. That’s part of the deal with this sort of textile: you’re getting a proper printed piece rather than identical factory-perfect repeats.

The dark blue ground keeps the brighter colours from becoming too much, while the circular mandala artwork gives it the full hippy-homeware look. A useful size for a single bed, or for keeping folded nearby when the sofa needs claiming.

These are properly colourful, so they’re not for a room trying very hard to be beige. The dark blue base stops the mandala print getting completely out of hand, though. At roughly 140cm x 200cm, it’s a sensible single-bed size and works nicely thrown over a chair or sofa too. Just bear in mind that hand-finished printing means yours may differ a little from the picture.
