This Stash Clock looks like an ordinary wall clock at a glance, with a white face, black numbers and hands, and a brushed silver-coloured outer frame. Behind the hinged clock face are three storage compartments arranged over two shelves.

At 257 x 257 x 75mm, it is a proper wall-clock size rather than a tiny novelty piece. It also works as a clock, so it needs one AA battery, sold separately. Keep small bits tucked behind the face, then close it up and let it get on with telling the time.

This is one of those bits that works best if you do not draw attention to it. It is a functioning clock, not a fake clock face stuck on a box, and the hinged front gives you three separate compartments behind it. The brushed silver-coloured frame is plain enough to pass without anyone giving it a second look.
