Wood and Nickel Round Ashtray

Product description

A round wooden ashtray with a nickel-plated centre, made in India. It measures 10cm across, so it’s a compact size for a table, smoking spot or beside an open window.

The hand-carved wooden surround gives it more presence than a plain glass ashtray, while the centre tray keeps the ash where it should be. There are three cigarette rests around the edge, useful when more than one person is having a smoke.

At 30mm high, it sits low and tidy rather than taking over the table. A straightforward little ashtray for people who prefer something with a bit more to it than the usual pub-style glass job.

A glass ashtray does the job, right up until it meets a tiled floor. This one has a hand-carved wooden outer and a nickel-plated centre, so it feels less throwaway on the table. The three cigarette rests are handy if there’s a small group about, and 10cm across is enough without becoming a dinner-plate ashtray.
