Product description

An XL lantern lampshade for bringing a bit of colour and reflected light to a room. It measures 24cm across and 85cm in full length, so it has a long, hanging shape rather than the look of a small bedside shade.

The lampshade has a mirrored finish, giving it some sparkle when the light catches it. It suits the colourful, slightly hippy end of homeware rather better than a plain lamp shade, especially where you want something visible rather than something that disappears into the background.

It may arrive with creases from packing. Give it a careful steam when it turns up to loosen them and help the lantern regain its proper shape and bounce. Lamp fitting details and bulb compatibility have not been supplied, so check those before setting it up.

These are properly long at 85cm, so don’t order one expecting a little paper lantern. The mirrored finish catches the light and gives it the sort of sparkle that suits a colourful room. They can pick up creases in transit, which is normal with this sort of shade. A careful bit of steam helps it open out and look as it should.
