Product description

A bright Buddha bedspread in heavy cotton, hand printed in India. The central artwork shows Buddha seated in the lotus position, with a coloured circle around the figure. Choose from Maroon, Blue, Purple or Red, with the named colour referring to that circle.

At approximately 2080mm x 2354mm, it is a generously sized textile for throwing across a bed or hanging on a wall when a plain room needs sorting out. The print is bold rather than shy, so it suits rooms with incense, records, plants and the usual accumulated treasures.

As each one is hand printed, small differences from the photo are part of the deal. There may be the odd area of double printing, but every piece has its own slightly individual finish.

These are proper bright bedspreads, not the sort of thing that disappears into the background. The heavy cotton gives them some presence, and the Buddha print works just as well on a wall as it does across a bed. Do bear in mind they are hand printed, so a little variation or double printing can turn up. That is part of the character, not a factory mistake.
