Standing Thai Buddha 30cm

Product description

A standing Thai Buddha ornament at approximately 30cm tall, shown in a prayer pose. It is made from resin, with a leaf-shaped backing stand cast and painted to resemble wood. The patterning on the robe carries through into the shape of the stand, so it looks considered rather than like a figure propped against a plain base.

There are two colourways: Red/Gold for a brighter, more modern look, or Green/Bronze with a burnished antique-style finish. It is a sensible size for a mantelpiece, bookshelf or the corner of a display cabinet, without taking over the whole shelf.

A straightforward piece of hippy homeware for anyone after a Buddha figure with a bit more presence than the tiny versions.

Height Approximately 30cm
Material Resin
Backing stand Leaf-shaped, cast and painted to look like wood

This is a decent shelf-sized Buddha, not one of those little figures that disappears behind a candle holder. I like the leaf-shaped backing stand, especially as the robe pattern carries into it. The Red/Gold version is the louder one; Green/Bronze has more of an aged finish. Pick the one that suits the room rather than trying to make both work.
