Product description

The Headchef HC003 is a compact digital scale for anyone who wants to weigh small amounts properly rather than relying on guesswork. It reads to a hundredth of a gram, which is the useful bit when you are portioning loose material or working with small quantities.

At 73mm long, 110mm wide and 18mm deep, it is small enough to keep in a drawer or stash box. The tare function lets you zero the scale with a tray or container already on it, while the calibration function, overload protection and auto shut-off cover the basics.

It runs on two AA batteries, and they are included, so it is ready to use out of the box. A tidy little scale with the features people actually look for.

A useful little scale if you need to measure small amounts accurately. It is only 18mm deep, so it does not take over the drawer, and the tare button saves the usual messing about with a tray. The included AA batteries are a welcome detail too. Just remember that the maximum weighing capacity is not supplied here, so do not assume it will handle big jobs.
