Product description

The Headchef HC005 is a compact digital scale for anyone who wants proper small-weight accuracy rather than guessing. It weighs up to 100g in 0.01g increments, with a 56mm x 53mm stainless steel platform and a green backlit LCD that is easier to read than a dim, unlit screen.

There is a tare function for zeroing off a tray or container, and the removable lid doubles as a tray when you need a bit more room to weigh onto. Two AAA batteries are included, so it is ready to use rather than becoming another thing waiting for batteries.

A useful little scale for keeping with your smoking kit, especially if accuracy matters. It also comes with a three-year warranty, which is reassuring on something with buttons and a display.

This is the sort of scale you buy when the cheap one has started making up its own numbers. It goes to 0.01g, has a sensible stainless steel platform, and the lid comes off to work as a tray, which saves juggling bits of paper. The green backlight is a small thing, but handy when you are not weighing in broad daylight.
