These are lightweight cotton trousers in rainbow stripes, handmade in Nepal. They’re the sort of loose, colourful pair you put on for a day at the beach, a festival camp, or simply mooching about at home when proper trousers seem overly ambitious.

The elasticated waist gives them a forgiving fit. Large stretches from around 28 to 42 inches, with an approximate 29-inch inseam. Extra large stretches from around 30 to 46 inches, with an approximate 31-inch inseam.

These are proper hippy trousers, not a half-hearted nod to the idea. The rainbow stripes make that fairly clear. The elasticated waist is the useful bit, though: large goes from roughly 28 to 42 inches, while extra large reaches about 46. Good for beach days, lounging about, or refusing to wear stiff trousers on principle.
