Product Description

Krishna is worshipped as the eight incarnation of Vishnu and is one of the most popular Hindu or Yogic deities. Krishna is the symbol of an noble statesman, a warrior, a great philosopher and a teacher. Krishna is the embodiment of love and joy. He is kind and rewards all who are devoted to him.

Lord Krishna is often pictured playing the flute (or murali). This symbolises divine music and union with God. It also symbolises a heart that has been made hollow (free from worldly thoughts and desires) - one that is capable of divine love. God's music can be played through this pure instrument.

The feathers of the peacock who stands at Krishna's feet feathers are a symbol of beauty and knowledge.

Lord Krishna is the god of love.

Rainbow batiks are approximately 2.5 ft by 4 ft. Rainbow batiks are hand-printed and painted.

Please note that as this is a hand finished product, colours may vary from those pictured

Due to the nature of the hand printing techniques used in India, there may be natural variations in design and some double printing may occur, however this does not detract from the beautiful finish of this batik.
