Minas Chequered Combat Trousers are lightweight trousers with a red, black and blue chequered pattern, sold in Large and XL.

There’s a good-sized pocket on each leg for the small bits you’d rather not carry in your hands. They make sense for festivals, beach days and the usual hippy-clothing rotation, where a plain pair of trousers would be a bit dull.

Large has an approximate 76cm inseam and an elasticated waist that stretches from about 29 to 42 inches. XL has an approximate 80cm inseam, with a 32 to 46 inch elasticated waist. Both sizes have a drawstring, so you can pull the waist in tighter if needed.

Check the measurements before choosing a size, especially if you’re between the two.

These are for people who think plain trousers are a bit of a wasted opportunity. The red, black and blue chequered pattern does the talking, while the elasticated waist and drawstring give you some room to get the fit right. I’d pay attention to the inseam measurements here, as the XL is longer as well as roomier at the waist.
