Product description

A large Rainbow Batik wall hanging featuring Ganesha holding ankusas, or goads. It measures approximately 760 x 1220mm, which is around 2.5 x 4 feet, so it has enough presence for a bedroom wall, hallway or the bit above the sofa that needs sorting out.

Each one is hand-printed and painted in India. That means the colours, print placement and small details will vary from the photo. You may also see slight double-printing in places, which is part of the hand-printing process rather than a fault.

The Ganesha image is traditionally placed facing the door. It is a bright, properly bold piece of hippy homeware, not something trying to disappear into the background.

This is a decent big batik, not a little wall flag you have to squint at. The Ganesha artwork is colourful and the ankusas give it plenty going on without looking fussy. Because they are hand-printed and painted, expect yours to have its own colour mix and the odd slightly doubled bit of print. That is how these come, and frankly it suits them.
