Product description
A large Hanuman batik measuring 760mm by 1220mm, with a hand-finished, hand-printed design. It’s the sort of colourful wall piece that suits a room with incense, records, plants and the usual collected clutter rather better than a blank bit of plaster.
Hanuman is a well-known figure in the Hindu pantheon, shown here in a bold decorative print rather than a tiny, fussy image. The hand-printing process means natural variation is part of the deal: colours can differ from the photos, and you may see slight design variation or occasional double printing. That’s normal for this kind of work, not a fault.
At just over 1.2 metres wide, it has enough presence to fill a decent section of wall without needing a whole gallery arrangement around it.
Paul says
This is a proper large batik, not a little print you’ll lose behind a lamp. The Hanuman design has plenty going on, and the hand printing means each one can vary a bit in colour and detail. You may get the odd overlap in the print too. That’s part of the hand-finished look, so don’t expect factory-perfect symmetry.
