Product description
This Shiva Nataraj batik features Shiva as Nataraj, the Lord of the Dance, shown dancing with whirling matted locks inside an arch of flames. It is detailed, traditional Shiva artwork rather than a plain decorative pattern.
Each piece is hand-finished using hand-printing techniques, so the colours will vary from the photographs. Small differences in the design, including the occasional area of double printing, can also occur. That is part of the hand-finished character of the batik, so expect your piece to have its own version of the print.
A good choice if you want bold Shiva imagery for your room, altar area or display space. Treat the product photo as a guide, not a promise of an identical print.
Paul says
This is one for people who prefer their Shiva imagery full-on rather than discreet. The dancing figure and arch of flames give it plenty to look at. Just bear in mind that it is hand-finished, so colours will differ from the photo and an occasional double print can turn up. That is normal with this sort of batik.
