Product description

A large batik wall hanging featuring Ganesha holding a bowl of modakam sweets, with lotus flowers in two hands. At 760mm by 1220mm, it has enough presence for a bare wall, above a low shelf, or behind a display without needing a whole gallery arrangement.

This is a hand-finished piece using hand-printing techniques in India, so the colours and parts of the design will vary from the photograph. You may also find the occasional doubled area of print. That is part of how these batiks come out, rather than a fault to expect a factory-perfect finish from.

A proper colourful bit of Ganesha artwork for the home, studio or gift pile. Hang it where it can be seen and let the print do its thing.

Size 760mm x 1220mm

This is a decent-sized wall batik, not a little postcard-sized print. The Ganesha and modakam design is properly colourful, and the 1220mm width gives it some wall presence. Just bear in mind that hand printing can produce slight colour changes or an occasional doubled print. If you need every line identical, buy a poster. If you like batik, that variation is part of it.
