Product description

A Che Guevara wall batik with his portrait set against a bright sunrise design. It is a change from the familiar red-and-black Che image, with much more colour going on behind it.

It measures around 71cm x 101cm, so it has enough presence to cover a decent stretch of wall without becoming a whole decorating project. Hang it in a bedroom, study, music room or wherever your posters and odd bits of wall art tend to gather.

These batiks are hand printed in India using traditional printing methods. That means slight variations in the finish can occur from one piece to the next, which is part of the deal rather than a fault. A straightforward bit of political pop art for a bare wall.

The usual Che print is all red, black and revolutionary poster shop. This one has a full sunrise behind him, so it is louder and a lot less standard. At roughly 71cm by 101cm, it fills a wall nicely without needing a frame. As these are hand printed, don’t expect every one to be machine-identical.
