Batik - Laxmi

Product description

This Laxmi batik is a hand-printed and painted wall piece measuring approximately 760mm by 1220mm, or around 2.5ft by 4ft. The artwork shows Laxmi seated on a large lotus flower, giving it the full-on colourful look people expect from a Rainbow batik.

It is hand-finished, so the colours will vary from the photo. Small shifts in the design and the occasional area of double printing can happen too. That is part of the hand-printing process rather than a fault, so no two will be quite identical.

A good size for filling a bare bit of wall without needing a huge framed print. Hang it where the colour can do its thing and let the lotus artwork take centre stage.

These are properly bright wall pieces, not subtle little prints, and the large lotus gives this one plenty to look at. As it is hand-printed and painted, don’t expect every example to match the photo down to the last line. You may get a slight colour change or a touch of double printing. Frankly, that is what makes it feel less factory-flat.
