Product description
A large Tara batik wall hanging, measuring 760 x 1220mm. It is hand finished and hand printed, so it has the slightly individual look you want from this sort of piece rather than the dead-even finish of a mass-produced poster.
The Tara artwork has roots in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, making this a fitting bit of hippy homeware for a wall that needs something more interesting than another print in a frame. At 1220mm wide, it has enough presence to cover a decent stretch of wall, above a bed, sofa or record shelf.
Colours can vary from the photograph, and the hand-printing process may leave small design variations or occasional double-print marks. That is part of the finish, not a fault. A good-sized fabric wall piece for people who like their décor colourful and a little less polished.
Paul says
This is a proper wall-filler at 1220mm wide, not a little square you have to squint at from across the room. The Tara design is detailed and the hand printing means yours may have slightly different colours or the odd doubled bit of print. Frankly, that suits a batik better than it being suspiciously identical to every other one.
