Product description

A small hand-printed batik showing Buddha seated in the Dhyana Mudra, with legs crossed in the lotus position. It is a familiar meditation pose, presented here as straightforward wall art rather than a lecture.

It measures around 82cm x 56cm, so it has enough presence for a bedroom wall, a quiet corner, or above a low shelf without taking over the whole room. Choose from Stone, Blue, Purple, Brown, Green or Orange to suit the colours already about the place.

As each one is hand printed, slight variations in the finish are part of the deal. That means yours may not look absolutely identical to the photo, which is rather the point with this sort of batik. A simple piece of hippy homeware with a classic Buddha image.

This is a decent little batik for someone who wants a Buddha image on the wall without covering the entire room. At around 82cm x 56cm, it is a useful size, and the Dhyana pose is the familiar crossed-leg one. Hand printing means there can be small finish differences, so don't expect machine-made sameness.
